The Opportunity

The Sr. Brand Manager- Pedialyte Delivery & Performance position works out of our Columbus, OH location in our Nutrition Division.

Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands - including Similac, PediaSure, Pedialyte, Ensure, and Glucerna - to help them get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest lives.

The Sr. Brand Manager - Pedialyte Delivery & Performance leads Pedialyte Delivery marketing responsibilities including retail channel strategy, pricing, assortment, forecasting and business analytics. Responsible for the development, management, and execution of retail strategies to effectively achieve commercialization, profit margin and business plan objectives. Directs and supervises a staff including one or more Brand Managers.

What You'll Work On

  • Lead all retail marketing related activities for the Pedialyte brand including distribution and assortment strategy, pricing structure, promotional principles, and innovation launch plans.

  • Participate in the development of business plans, identify areas of concern, and modify marketing programs to address changes in the marketplace.

  • Maximize ROI and effectiveness of trade investments include promotion and partnership on Shopper Marketing activities.

  • Direct the analysis of the business overseeing consumption including drivers, priorities, and growth opportunities.

  • Lead retail strategy including channel strategy, National Sales Meeting presentations, Business Planning Guide as well as sell-in stories for innovation launches including supporting on price and forecast to new items in partnership with innovation team.

  • Partner with Design team on brand positioning and campaign to develop plan to pull through to retail.

  • Assess potential market expansion opportunities such as new distribution channels as well as competitive threats.

  • Present brand and marketing programs to Sr. Management.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives. These groups include external customers and consumers, Field Sales, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Logistics, Public Affairs, Marketing and Executive Management and external vendors or agencies.

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of progressively responsible product management experience in either health care or Consumer packaged goods

  • Financial and budget management experience and skills.

  • Demonstrated effective leadership competencies.

  • Demonstrated leadership and success in project management.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic business plans.

  • Strong analytical skills including experience with financial models.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to attain business objectives.

  • Education Requirements: BA/BS Degree in Marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA strongly preferred due to the business complexity and P&L responsibility of the position.
