Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service and operational execution.
  • Manage the Grocery Department, including Dairy, Frozen, and Liquor/Beer areas, to achieve sales, profitability, and service goals.
  • Ensure product quality, inventory accuracy, merchandising standards, pricing compliance, and food safety requirements are maintained.
  • Supervise, coach, train, schedule, and develop department employees and managers to drive performance and engagement.
  • Monitor financial performance, labor expenses, inventory results, and shrink, implementing plans to improve profitability.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, performance management, and succession planning activities.
  • Foster positive customer, vendor, and employee relationships while resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Serve as the store leader in the absence of the Store Director and provide operational guidance across all store departments.
