Position Overview:
Provides high quality care to patients undergoing invasive cardiovascular, vascular and related surgical procedures. Assists radiologist and cardiologist with invasive diagnostic and therapeutic special procedures and maintains and operates equipment required to achieve the best possible radiographic diagnostic images.
IR, Interventional Rad, Cath Lab
Job Description:
EDUCATION
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Associate's: equivalent plus one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy
  • Cardiovascular Interventional Therapy within 1 Year of hire
  • ACLS (preferred)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
  • Two years in the cardiac cath lab and/or Interventional Radiology.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Knowledge: Familiar with equipment and supplies used in the cardiovascular and special procedures areas
  • Familiar with supplies and equipment used during standard and specialized procedures.
  • Demonstrates a very high level of radiographic accuracy and patient care while accomplishing the desired outcome of the procedure in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Proficient with digital imaging and magnification techniques and fluoroscopy.

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
