About Our Client: Our client, a well-established healthcare provider in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative. This is a long-term contract role with the potential for permanent placement for standout performers.

Job Description: As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient services over the phone. This position involves scheduling appointments, entering patient information into the system, verifying insurance, and handling referrals. The role is fast-paced, requiring the handling of over 100 calls per day, all while ensuring accuracy and maintaining a professional, patient-friendly demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume inbound calls, providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Accurately enter patient information into the system during calls.
  • Schedule patient appointments and handle insurance verifications.
  • Process referrals from provider offices and hospitals.
  • Multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of call center experience with a proven track record of managing high call volumes (60+ calls per day).
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Healthcare industry experience or familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.

Additional Details:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
