Job description

Basic Function

The Distributed Control System (DCS) Monitoring Specialist delivers advanced, fleetwide oversight of control system performance across all HF Sinclair facilities. The role applies specialized tools and deep expertise in DCS health and system reliability to identify emerging issues, evaluate enterpriselevel operational and technical challenges, and drive consistent adoption of best practices that strengthen DCS stability. Reporting to the Control Systems Automation Lead, this position works closely with OT system teams to lead and support monitoring initiatives, coordinate proactive response strategies, and improve availability, performance, and reliability metrics across the fleet. The expected outcomes include earlier detection of degradation, uniform application of standards, and measurable reliability improvements at the enterprise level.
