Technical Project Manager
  • A technical project manager (TPM) is a specialized project manager who combines technical expertise with project management skills to oversee and guide IT or other technology-focused projects.
  • They ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while also navigating the technical aspects of the project.

Key Responsibilities of a Technical Project Manager:
  • Project Planning and Execution:. TPMs develop project plans, define scope, set timelines, and allocate resources.
  • Technical Leadership: They provide guidance to technical teams, ensuring projects align with technical requirements and best practices.
  • Risk Management: TPMs identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Communication and Collaboration:. They effectively communicate project status to stakeholders, manage communication plans, and foster collaboration between teams.
