Reports To: VP of Human Resources

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes full ownership of their work. This role is ideal for a self-starter and problem solver with exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through, who can manage administrative, recruitment, and broad HR generalist responsibilities with increasing autonomy and complexity.
This individual must be proactive, highly organized, and capable of taking initiative to lead projects from high-level concept through detailed execution, often with limited supervision. The ideal candidate anticipates needs, identifies opportunities for improvement, and drives solutions independently while supporting associates and leadership across the full associate lifecycle.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Generalist Functions
  • Coordinate associate questions related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Administer daily Paycom HRIS system needs, updates, and reporting
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation reporting
  • Provide support and knowledge transfer to field managers with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with I-9 and E-Verify
  • Support benefits administration and HRIS data integrity
  • Assist with associate relations by gathering information and documenting outcomes
  • Generate reports and track HR metrics to prepare monthly dashboard reporting
  • Assist with coordinating associate events
  • Track and monitor HR and Payroll Department initiatives for strategic planning and reporting
  • Provides back up support for Payroll function and typically may run 2-4 semimonthly payrolls independently throughout the year
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Manage the daily administrative Paycom ATS including job postings, sourcing, out of the box recruitment strategies and background screening, there is minimal selection, interview coordination, and onboarding roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements
  • Maintain and optimize recruiting workflows
  • Ensure a strong candidate experience
Execution & Process Ownership
  • Independently manage multiple priorities with accountability and urgency
  • Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail across all tasks
  • Take ownership of projects from concept through implementation
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements
  • Problem-solve and execute solutions with minimal direction
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of HR Generalist and/or recruiting experience
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment and HR operations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from concept through execution
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-starter with ownership mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (Paycom preferred)
