Human Resources Clerk (Winter Seasonal)
General Purpose:
The Human Resources Clerk supports the HR department by performing administrative and clerical tasks. This role involves maintaining employee records, onboarding, and assisting with recruitment processes. The HR Clerk ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of HR operations by providing essential support and fostering a positive workplace environment.
This is a seasonal position from mid October to mid March. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business. This is a non-skiing position, but ski breaks are possible. This role comes with a free season pass for you and your dependents. Job Posting Deadline: This position will remain open until filled. Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist with uniform distribution, inventory, and maintenance
  • Process onboarding paperwork, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Maintain up to date employee records
  • Assist employees and managers with understanding PayCom and helping them troubleshoot their questions
  • Process employee changes in PayCom including rehires and terminations
  • Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Promptly respond to employee inquiries and provide information regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with the organization and execution of employee events such as orientation, holiday party, and employee appreciation month
  • Assist our Logistics coordinator with scheduling tasks.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must be able to learn computer programs quickly and efficiently (on the job training is provided)
  • Proficiency in Google Suite products (gmail, google drive, good docs, sheets, forms, etc)
  • Excellent customer service skill
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment

Education and Experience: High school diploma required, college degree in a related field preferred. Human Resources experience is a huge plus but not required. Must be outgoing and personable. Must be able to remain calm in stressful situations.
Working Environment/Physical Activities: 85% of the work day is spent indoors, in a normal office environment and 15% of the work day is spent outdoors, in winter weather conditions. 50% of the workday is spent sitting, 30% standing and 20% walking.
Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 75 pounds. Constantly handling objects. Constantly engaging in normal conversation, in person, email and over the phone. Frequently reaching, balancing, stooping, use of near and far acuity, color and field of vision. Occasionally climbing, balancing, and stooping. Potential exposure to mechanical and electrical hazards. This is a non-skiing position. Must be able to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.
