Job description

Job Summary:
NVIDIA is a leader in computer graphics and AI technology, seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer to enhance live media through innovative demos and media pipelines. The role involves building high-performance software demos, developing media workflows, and engaging in technical evangelism at industry events.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Demo Engineering: Architect and build high-performance software demos from early-stage product snapshots and cutting-edge SDKs. You will transform abstract technical capabilities into concrete, repeatable, and visually stunning workflows.
โ€ข Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain end-to-end media pipelinesโ€”from ingest to inference to outputโ€”utilizing NVIDIAโ€™s stack (AI for Media, Holoscan for Media, Blueprints, NIMs, SDKs and NMOS Containers).
โ€ข Technical Evangelism: Travel to 6โ€“10 industry tradeshows annually. You will set up complex demo rigs, present technical deep-dives to multi-level audiences, and field challenging architectural questions from industry leaders.
โ€ข Continuous Innovation: Partner with product management to identify feature gaps or performance bottlenecks, providing actionable feedback that influences the product roadmap.
โ€ข Onsite Collaboration: Engage daily with our product management and core engineering teams at HQ. This is an onsite role (minimum 4 days/week) to ensure you are deeply integrated with the development cycle and hardware resources.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree from a leading university or equivalent experience
โ€ข 8+ years of media industry experience, specifically broadcast or content creation.
โ€ข Technical Proficiency: Strong Linux command-line mastery. You are comfortable debugging build issues, managing containers, and navigating complex environments.
โ€ข AI & Accelerated Computing: Proven experience with the NVIDIA stack (e.g. CUDA, TensorRT, Rivermax). Experience deploying AI models (LLMs, VLMs, audio enhancement, or generative AI) in production environments.
โ€ข Media Pipeline Fluency: Deep understanding of professional media workflows (content creation, virtual production, broadcast, post-production, or real-time graphics). Familiarity with standards like SMPTE ST 2110, RTP, or standard production formats (ProRes, EXR, etc.) is a significant plus.
โ€ข Critical Problem-Solving: Ability to determine and solve root cause engineering problems.
โ€ข Communication: Ability to distill complex technical architecture into clear, persuasive narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
โ€ข Comfortable presenting to senior leadership, with a high ownership mindset and bias toward clarity and execution.
Preferred:
โ€ข Strong AI interest and experience
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills to work with world-class teams
โ€ข Background in developing software for live production, virtual production, or VFX pipelines.
โ€ข Proficiency in Python and C++ for rapid prototyping and performance tuning.
โ€ข Demonstrable experience managing trade show technical environments (rack setups, hardware troubleshooting, on-site networking).
