Job description

Job Summary:
Molex is a leading provider of electronic solutions, committed to innovation and excellence. They are seeking a Director, AI Product Manager to oversee innovation, development, and delivery of AI solutions, while leading a multifaceted team and ensuring strong governance practices in AI technology and platform strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership in developing, maintaining, and governing the AI platform and technology to enable secure, scalable, and compliant AI applications throughout Molex’s global operations, spanning Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product Development, business divisions and supporting capabilities.
• Lead, mentor and manage a diverse global team of data scientists, AI engineers and architects. Build a pipeline of talent that can take on increasingly complex projects and lead collaboration initiatives (AI Developers Community of Practice (CoP), technical upskilling, peer review, etc.).
• Oversee the delivery lifecycle from requirements discovery, solution design, and through deployment and monitoring of productionized data science and AI applications (MLOps/AIOps).
• Provide architectural assurance for AI initiatives in flight. Review designs for scalability, security, and sustainability. Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Architecture Review Board. Prevent technology fragmentation and sprawl.
• Lead and champion best practices in AI governance, stewardship, and quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards (e.g., GDPR, CMMC, PIPL, responsible use of AI etc.) as well as AI FINOPS.
• Foster partnerships with digital and technology leaders, and external collaborators to accelerate the AI enabled solution delivery and development. Serve as a thought leader for education, awareness, and innovation in enterprise applied and agentic AI. Create POVs and framework for responsible and safe use of AI and create accountability models for AI costs.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Significant experience leading multi-disciplinary teams delivering enterprise-scale AI platforms and applications, preferably in with experience in global hi-tech manufacturing organizations.
• Deep expertise in data science methods (ML, AI, statistics) and AI engineering (cloud, MLOps, pipeline orchestration), with mastery of technology and platforms such as Snowflake, Python, R, AWS SageMaker, Spark, orchestration platforms etc.
• Demonstrated ability to define and execute governance frameworks for responsible AI, model lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to drive innovation (whitepapers, roadmaps), develop cross-functional partnerships, and support technology transfer initiatives to embed AI into core business processes.
• Experience mentoring and growing diverse teams, with a focus on inclusion, equity, and continuous learning. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with global groups and to build relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-driven, highly adaptable, and able to quickly master new domains and tools in response to emerging business or technology trends.
• Excellent written, verbal and listening skills for clear and concise communication, documentation, and project management. Keen attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
