Job description


The Corporate Sales Account Manager (Los Angeles area) drives revenue growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing corporate accounts. This role is customer-focused and results-oriented, leveraging market insights to capture growth within the territory. By proactively communicating trends, opportunities, and risks, the position plays a critical role in advancing Hertz's strategic growth and strengthening its corporate portfolio.
What You'll Do:
  • Participate in B2B sales activities that result in increased market share and profitable revenue growth
  • Partner with existing corporate accounts to expand our relationships, provide continual support of their rental needs and communicate new/existing products, services, and programs
  • Negotiate contract renewals with existing designated Hertz accounts improving contribution margins and delivering improved economics and profitable revenue that contributes to the company EBITDA
  • Create relationships with assigned competitive accounts to capitalize on new business opportunities and improve Hertz designation and market share in assigned competitive targets
  • Utilize technology and relationships to prospect effectively and grow pipeline accounts
  • Strategize internally by communicating opportunities, challenges and market trends affecting assigned accounts and executing a course of action
  • Report on activity and provide documentation relevant to account administration

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of large account management experience and proven track record of driving sustained revenue growth within a sales territory required
  • Strong business and financial acumen, critical- thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, solve problems, and deliver results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, network, organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills; proficient with PC applications including Salesforce preferred
  • Self-motivated and adaptable professional with a valid U.S. drivers license, capable of working independently, navigating ambiguity, and succeeding in a goal-orientated environment; service industry experience preferred

What You'll Get:
  • This role provides On Target Earning potential of $90,000-110,000; which includes a quarterly and annual bonus plan
    • The starting salary for this role is $72,000 annually, commensurate of experience
    • Eligible to earn 30% or more of base salary in annual sales incentives, paid quarterly based on achieving sales goals
    • Company vehicle for business and personal use
  • Reimbursement for Travel Expenses (as applicable, per Company policy guidelines)
  • Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at 1.25 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays)
