Senior DevOps Engineer (Automation & Middleware)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in DevOps tools, CI/CD automation, and scripting, along with solid expertise in middleware platforms such as WebLogic and JBoss. The ideal candidate will drive automation initiatives, streamline deployment processes, and support enterprise-grade middleware environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable workflows to improve deployment efficiency.
  • Build and maintain scripts (Shell, Bash, Python, YAML, PowerShell) for automation and operational tasks.
  • Manage and support middleware platforms including:
  • WebLogic 12c / 14c
  • JBoss 7.4 / 8.1
  • Automate application deployments, patching, and environment provisioning across middleware environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and release processes.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and DevOps best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience with DevOps tools and automation:
  • GitHub Actions
  • YAML scripting and workflow design
  • Strong scripting expertise (mandatory):
  • Shell / Bash / YAML
  • Python or PowerShell
  • Hands-on experience with middleware technologies:
  • WebLogic 12c / 14c
  • JBoss 7.4 / 8.1
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, release management, and automation practices
