Summary:
An Atlanta-based Cloud Governance team is seeking a Software/DevOps Engineer to build automated cloud policy enforcement and governance solutions across multi-cloud environments. This role focuses on policy-as-code development, infrastructure automation, and cloud security, working in a highly collaborative and agile environment.
Position Info:
Responsibilities:
Automate cloud governance processes and deliver policy-as-code across AWS, Azure, GCP, and China-based clouds
Develop APIs and integrate solutions to identify and report non-compliant cloud resources
Partner with engineering, architecture, and product teams to enhance cloud posture
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product ideation
Support risk assessments and navigate policy exception processes
Contribute to the engineering community through forums and governance activities
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Proficiency in Python or Golang (preferred) and other scripting languages
Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., CircleCI, Jenkins)
Understanding of cloud governance, security, compliance, and policy-as-code
Knowledge of Agile development practices and tools like JIRA
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred: experience with Cloud Custodian, OPA Rego, front-end development, SAFe, and AWS certifications
