IT Managers play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical teams and other business units. They regularly meet with department heads to understand specific technology needs, coordinate on project timelines, and ensure that IT solutions align with organizational goals. Effective communication and collaboration are key, as IT Managers often lead cross-functional projects, provide technical guidance, and help troubleshoot issues that impact multiple departments. This collaborative approach ensures technology initiatives support overall business strategy and operational efficiency.

The Area Marketing Director – Outbound Hotels is the steward of growth, connection, and brand storytelling for Outbound’s expanding portfolio of adventureinspired hotels. This role leads the development and execution of marketing strategies that bring each Outbound destination to life—balancing brand consistency with authentic local character. Partnering closely with property teams, ownership, and CoralTree’s brand leaders, this position serves as the connective tissue between corporate vision and ontheground execution, driving revenue, guest engagement, and longterm brand love across the Outbound collection.

Pre-Opening/Launch  Marketing Leadership for New Outbound Properties

Lead and execute comprehensive pre-opening marketing strategies for new properties joining the Outbound Collection. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement tailored pre-opening marketing plans that build anticipation, drive early awareness, and position each property for a successful launch.
  • Collaborate with property owners, CoralTree Hospitality leadership, and agency partners to ensure all pre-opening campaigns reflect Outbound brand standards and local market opportunities.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of launch assets, including email marketing, press releases, digital campaigns, social media teasers, and influencer partnerships.
  • Coordinate with PR and creative agencies to secure media coverage and generate buzz prior to opening.
  • Manage pre-opening events, preview tours, and community engagement initiatives to establish the property’s presence in its market.
  • Ensure digital readiness by launching property websites, optimizing online listings, and activating CRM/email campaigns ahead of opening.
  • Track and report on pre-opening campaign performance, adjusting tactics to maximize reach and conversion.
  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for all pre-opening and launch activities, facilitating smooth transitions from pre-launch to ongoing marketing operations.
Strategic Marketing Leadership
  • Oversee and direct marketing strategies across the full Outbound Hotels portfolio, ensuring brand consistency while allowing for local property differentiation.
  • Build and maintain a 12-month campaign calendar and individual property marketing plans that align with seasonal needs, brand initiatives, and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape the long-term marketing roadmap for Outbound Hotels, including new market entries, guest segment strategy, and brand awareness growth.
Agency & Partner Management
  • Manage external marketing partners including PR, digital, creative, and social agencies, ensuring alignment with brand goals and ROI delivery.
  • Serve as the strategic point of contact between CoralTree, ownership groups, and agency teams.
Team & Property Support
  • Act as a marketing coach and leader for property-level team members, DOSMs, as well as on property and area marketing team members.
  • Guide execution of marketing plans and troubleshoot campaign gaps or digital issues.
  • Collaborate with each property and CoralTree’s marketing team to review quarterly digital performance audits and AI visibility reports.
  • Ensure that identified flaws or performance gaps from audits and reports are addressed quickly and accurately.
  • Support ongoing improvements based on data-driven insights to drive digital performance and visibility across the portfolio.
  • Serve as the marketing thought leader for Outbound Hotels, mentoring fellow marketers and presenting strategy recommendations to CoralTree leadership and ownership groups.
Performance Analysis & Revenue Growth
  • Partner with revenue and digital teams to monitor KPIs, optimize paid media strategies, and report on campaign performance.
  • Translate marketing performance data into actionable insights that improve property ROI and conversion.
  • Develop and maintain performance benchmarks by property type/market to set clear expectations and measure impact of marketing investment.
New Property Onboarding & Transitions
  • Lead marketing setup and digital readiness efforts for new property transitions and launches.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all marketing-related needs during transitions, including gaining access to existing platforms, tools, and accounts.
  • Work directly with previous management companies to secure creative assets, digital collateral, and administrative access across marketing systems.
  • Oversee URL strategy, DNS configuration, asset audits, and brand alignment during transitions.
Innovation & Tools
  • Support the evaluation and piloting of new marketing technologies and tools, including AI-driven platforms.
  • Partner with CoralTree’s AI Project Team to identify scalable digital innovation opportunities.
Internal Communication & Brand Alignment
  • Share quarterly marketing highlights or trend reports with internal stakeholders to build visibility and alignment across departments.
  • Ensure brand storytelling, visuals, and campaigns reflect the diverse guest base and support CoralTree’s commitment to inclusive, responsible travel.

  • 8+ years of experience in hospitality marketing, preferably in a multi-property or brand-level role.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing strategy, performance media, and brand storytelling.
  • Proven ability to manage agency relationships and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and report performance clearly.
  • Familiarity with OTA marketing, CRM/email platforms, Google Business Profiles, DNS/domain management, and hospitality tech stacks (e.g., SynXis, Revinate, GA4).

As a valued member of the CoralTree team, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
