Job description

The main duties of the Server Assistant are to clear and reset tables as needed, support service staff with table maintenance issues. The Server Assistants ensure guest satisfaction, as they have the ability to leave a positive impression upon our guests. 

Salary: $17.13/hour

This is a Seasonal position with targeted start and end dates:

  • Season Start: May 2026
  • Season End: October 31

Hours will fluctuate as business levels rise and fall throughout the season. Peak season, with the most hours, is typically May – October.

  • Clear and reset tables to standards
  • Ensure silverware is not spotted or fingerprinted and glassware is not chipped
  • Work carefully to avoid breakage and loss
  • Keep refillable beverages full
  • Notify server when bringing coffee, tea or other beverages to tables so that these beverages can be charged properly
  • Inform server of potential issues with guests
  • Stock/restock appropriate linens
  • Stock/restock station with appropriate glasses, plates, and saucers
  • Complete assigned side work. (Side work is not optional and will be checked out by the manager-on-duty)
  • Comply with all Suncadia policies, procedures, and safety regulations

  • Availability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Current Washington state food handler permit required OR ability to obtain permit within 30-days of hire
  • Ability to work well with others and function well in fast paced environment
  • Able to communicate well with team member and customers
  • Knowledge of food and beverage products
