- Act as a Business Systems Analyst and Product Owner supporting business and technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Perform hands-on data analysis using advanced SQL queries including joins, subqueries, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and performance-optimized queries.
- Analyze data discrepancies, trends, and patterns to support business decisions and operational improvements.
- Validate data outputs, reports, and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Support data-driven use cases, integrations, and downstream system consumption requirements.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, defect triage, and sign-off activities.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and data teams to support end-to-end project delivery.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement and sprint planning activities.
- Maintain project documentation and requirement artifacts using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role.
- Knowledge of GBD business processes and operations.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and advanced data analysis techniques.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries for data validation and reporting.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, data models, and data flows.
- Experience working with large datasets and supporting analytics and reporting use cases.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with requirement management and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to data warehousing and reporting tools.
- Experience working in healthcare or insurance environments.
- Understanding of ETL processes and upstream/downstream data dependencies.
- Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
