Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

As a senior-level information security analyst, you will perform steady-state governance work supporting data-at-rest protection, enterprise information protection metrics, and policy adherence. This role supports enterprise risk management, Board-level reporting, and audit readiness through disciplined governance, analysis, and remediation coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute governance activities supporting enterprise data at rest protection requirements
  • Own and run recurring enterprise metric cycles, including validation, analysis, commentary, and remediation coordination
  • Analyze risk and control gaps and influence remediation decisions with technology and risk partners
  • Interpret and apply information security policies and standards
  • Produce audit defensible documentation and reporting artifacts
  • Support responsible automation and AI adoption through governance execution

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment in ambiguous governance or risk scenarios and influence outcomes without formal authority
  • Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC), cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk management experience
  • Strong analytical background with demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Experience operating in large, highly regulated enterprise environments with formal risk, audit, and governance expectations
  • Experience supporting enterprise metrics, dashboards, or reporting cycles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive and audit audiences
  • High attention to detail and ability to operate independently
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (analysis, pivot tables, data validation)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint experience for executive reporting
  • Experience with enterprise metrics, data, and reporting platforms
  • Experience using enterprise approved generative AI tools with understanding of human in the loop / human in the middle controls
  • Audit support experience

Desired skills:

  • Power Automate for workflow, notifications, or governance automation
  • Microsoft Lists (tracking, documentation, evidence management)
  • Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric experience
  • Information protection or data security experience
  • Metrics governance or KPI ownership

Pay range:  $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
