ASRC Federal is seeking a skilled and proactive Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position provides high-level administrative and operational support to Division Chiefs. The ideal candidate will proactively manage executive schedules, draft critical documentation, and track various organizational initiatives to ensure leadership meets all mission-critical deadlines. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of government processes and the ability to drive tasks from initiation to completion.
Remote flexibility available! Telework offered with a requirement to be onsite up to three (3) days a week at Quantico Marine Corps Base VA.
Position Description:
The Business Analyst is a critical role responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to executive leadership. This position focuses on ensuring the efficient operation of the division by managing complex schedules, facilitating key meetings, and overseeing the lifecycle of organizational tasks. The Business Analyst will also be central to creating, refining, and managing all official documentation, including technical papers, policies, and executive-level presentations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with all relevant directives.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience supporting Department of War (DoW) administrative processes, protocols, and standard workflows, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite-specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint-is mandatory for this role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills are strictly required, specifically the ability to orchestrate workflows, manage timelines, and drive task completion across multiple concurrent efforts.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a specialized emphasis on clarity and precision in technical writing and policy review.
  • Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED

Responsibilities:
  • Executive & Calendar Management:
    • Manage complex calendars for Division Chiefs, coordinating high-level engagements and resolving scheduling conflicts efficiently.
    • Facilitate leadership meetings, capturing detailed meeting minutes and distributing the resulting action items to relevant stakeholders.
  • Task & Initiative Tracking:
    • Monitor tasks and ongoing initiatives from their initiation through final completion.
    • Proactively track efforts to ensure direct customers are fully prepared and never miss critical deadlines or milestones.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Draft, format, and refine technical documents, memorandums, and administrative reports with a focus on precision and clarity.
    • Regularly review, analyze, and update organizational policies for accuracy and compliance with established directives.
    • Design and develop high-quality, professional presentations and briefings using PowerPoint for executive delivery.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • This is primarily a Telework position with a requirement to be onsite up to three (3) days a week
  • If alternate worksite is other than DCSA facilities or corporate office space, must have the reliable ability to communicate over voice (cell phone preferred) and stable, capable internet connection
  • Must be able to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse customer base both verbally and in written form
