A surrogacy agency job involves coordinating and facilitating the surrogacy process for intended parents and surrogates. This includes matching surrogates with parents, managing legal and medical procedures, and providing emotional and logistical support throughout the journey. Agency staff may work as case managers, coordinators, or legal consultants to ensure a smooth and ethical surrogacy experience. Responsibilities vary depending on the role, but communication, organization, and compassion are essential skills in this field.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in a surrogacy agency?

To thrive as a Surrogacy Agency professional, you need a thorough understanding of third-party reproduction laws, reproductive health processes, and strong organizational abilities, often supported by a background in social work, counseling, or healthcare administration. Familiarity with client management systems, legal documentation platforms, and compliance tracking tools is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and problem-solving abilities set candidates apart in this field. These competencies are crucial for providing outstanding support and guidance to intended parents and surrogates while maintaining strict confidentiality and legal compliance.

What are some common challenges faced when working in a surrogacy agency, and how are they addressed?

Working in a surrogacy agency often involves navigating complex legal requirements, managing emotional situations, and coordinating multiple parties, including intended parents, surrogates, attorneys, and medical professionals. Job description

Highly reputable Egg Donation and Surrogacy Agency based in Pasadena has an immediate opening for a Donor and Surrogate Recruiter.
Our mission is to guide Intended Parents, egg donors, sperm donors, and surrogates through one of the most meaningful journeys in life: building families. We know firsthand how much courage it takes to hope again after every setback, and we never give up on the people who trust us with their dream of a family. That dedication is why we come to work each day.
This is one of the most important roles at our agency. Our Recruiters are the first team members to connect with the egg donors, sperm donors, and surrogates who apply to our program. You will be the welcoming voice on the other end of that first conversation, conducting initial interviews to understand each applicant and confirm they meet the qualifications to join our program. Once an applicant successfully completes this preliminary screening, you will hand them off to a Case Coordinator, who guides them through the next steps of their journey with us.
This is a role where warmth and judgment matter in equal measure. Every applicant you speak with is a real person hoping to help build a family, and how you treat them sets the tone for their entire experience with our agency.
Your first 90 days will be an introductory training period, during which we will teach you our policies and procedures from the ground up. Once you are fully trained, you will step into the recruitment role.
You will serve as the first point of contact for egg donors, sperm donors, and surrogates who apply to our program.
You will conduct initial screening interviews to get to know each applicant and confirm they meet our program's qualifications.
You will guide applicants warmly through the earliest stage of their journey and answer their questions with care.
You will handle related administrative tasks with accuracy and discretion, always protecting highly confidential information.

This role is open to anyone passionate about our industry and our mission. No prior recruitment, sales, or industry experience is necessary — we will teach you everything you need to know. Relevant experience is a welcome plus, but it is never a requirement.
What we truly look for are the intangibles — the things we cannot teach:
•               Empathy — a genuine ability to understand and honor what our donors, surrogates, and Intended Parents are going through.
•               Integrity — doing the right thing, especially with sensitive and confidential information.
•               Grit — the determination to show up and never give up on the people who are counting on us.
•               Emotional intelligence — reading people well and responding with warmth and professionalism.

Beyond those qualities, our ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and mature, with:
•               Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
•               A professional demeanor and excellent phone etiquette.
•               Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
•               Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
•               Reliable transportation.

We Offer:
•               A meaningful career at the heart of helping people build their families.
•               Hands-on training — we teach you everything you need to succeed.
Competitive compensation and benefits, including:
•               401K retirement plan
•               Health, vision, and dental insurance
•               Two weeks of paid vacation and six sick days annually
•               A warm, friendly office environment.

All candidates who are interested in this job should submit their resumes. Once a resume is received, we will send you an email with a link that you can use to complete two compatibility assessments. Once these assessments are complete, you will be called in for an in-person interview.

While only candidates selected for the position will be contacted, resumes will be kept on file for 90 days.
We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
