CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (SALES ASSISTANT)

THE RUNDOWN

Playfly and Marque Sports Network are looking for a Client Service Representative to join our team in Chicago at Marquee Sports Network. As a Client Service Representative (CSR), you will be responsible for supporting advertising revenue growth across all Marquee Media offerings, in collaboration with the broader sales team, by providing assistance throughout the sales cycle. We offer a hybrid work environment with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office (3721 N Clark, Chicago, IL).

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Assemble and provide effective sales packages for prospective and current clients, based on clients' needs/specifications and account requirements

Collaborate with and support the Account Executives on all account needs, style variations, and timelines for client packages

Participate in sales presentations and negotiations as well as Marquee client events

Enter & maintain ad orders and postings within Wide Orbit Media Sales

Help resolve billing discrepancies

Offer media optimization suggestions to Account Executives based on insights and performance

Support the Account Executives in the comprehensive sales process through prospecting, developing a sales plan, and preparing client calls and meetings

Assist with sales forecasting reports by pulling, formatting and analyzing data in excel

Other job-related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED

Bachelor's Degree

3+ years of experience in a media sales support or similar role

Some experience working in the sports, ad agencies or media industries

Some experience working with Wide Orbit

Interest and general understanding of the sports industry

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships

Outstanding organizational skills and a proven ability to work both as a member of a team and individually

The ability to multitask and work effectively on multiple projects with competing deadlines

TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role takes place in an office setting

Minimal travel may be required
