JOB SUMMARY

The Pirate Sports Network Student Broadcast Associate is responsible for assisting Seton Hall Athletics with the production of live BIG EAST Digital Network events to be streamed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Students will be tasked with one of many different roles to help the department successfully produce a broadcast, including but not limited to: directing cameras, operating cameras, operating a graphics machine, operating a replay machine, serving as a play-by-play or color analyst on the air, and assisting with statistics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with sports, especially soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, and swimming & diving - must include a cover letter specifying preferred areas and class schedule with available hours

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with the Pirate Sports Network as a volunteer, especially experience operating a Newtek Tricaster and a Newtek 3Play

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Must be able to handle innate physical demands of position
