Playfly Sports is looking for a Sales Intern to join our team in State College, Pennsylvania.
The primary responsibility of this position is to collaborate with the Partnership Sales Team to provide assistance and support in prospecting new leads, researching current sponsorship trends and learning the overall sales process at Penn State Sports Enterprises.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Prospect new categories and partnerships.
Build key relationships with current and future Corporate Partners.
Assist the Sales Team in pitch deck creation and ideation of partnership assets.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of sport sponsorship sales.
Assist with the execution of all hospitality elements and events on game days and non-game days.
Provide high quality customer service and communication
Represent Playfly Sports, Penn State Sports Enterprises and Penn State Athletics in a professional manner
Other job-related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Minimum 1 year commitment (full school year)
Customer service and/or brand partnership experience
Responsible, motivated, and comfortable interacting with fans, Corporate Partners, and other vendors
Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented, flexibility, and willingness to participate in multiple events.
Initiative, creativity, and a passion for sports sponsorship.
TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Responsible for attending all home Football games and other assigned sports home games (including afternoon, night, and weekend games)
Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs
Must have reliable transportation
8-10 in-office hours per week.
