Monday - Friday 8am-4pm (through year end, temp)
Position Description
The Seasonal Assembly & Shipping Associate performs light assembly of our cylinder canisters that will be packaged with our delicious popcorn, and ensure accurate shipping to our valued customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a part of a dynamic and growing company during this seasonal rush in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
Responsibilities
  • Light Assembly: Put together popcorn cylinders.
  • Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of products before packing to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
  • Packaging: Properly package products to prevent damage during transit, using appropriate packaging materials and techniques.
  • Order Tracking: Update and maintain shipping records, tracking information, and delivery status in the system.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other shipping team members and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packaging and labeling shipments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet shipping deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed to support shipping operations.
  • Adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Physical Demands
Extensive physical exertions which includes but are not limited to:
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.
  • Repetitive bending, lifting, and hand/arm movements.
