About Lush Popcorn

At Lush Popcorn, quality starts with the product. We are looking for a dependable, focused, and detail-oriented Popcorn Cook to prepare our gourmet popcorn from scratch while maintaining high standards for taste, consistency, food safety, and presentation.

This is a hands-on production role in a hot, active, and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with food, can follow recipes precisely, stays organized, and takes pride in producing a consistent, high-quality product.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare gourmet popcorn from scratch by accurately following recipes, measurements, and production procedures
  • Operate popcorn-making equipment and other food production tools safely and correctly
  • Monitor cooking times, temperatures, ingredients, and batch quality to ensure consistency
  • Measure and portion ingredients accurately
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet Lush Popcorn’s quality standards
  • Bag, label, package, and prepare finished popcorn for retail, online, and wholesale orders
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality control requirements
  • Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, utensils, workstations, and production areas
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked production space
  • Track ingredients, supplies, finished products, and production needs
  • Assist with inventory management and communicate when ingredients or supplies are running low
  • Help fulfill customer, online, wholesale, and special orders accurately and on time
  • Follow store policies, procedures, recipes, and production standards
  • Work independently and with team members to meet daily production goals
  • Assist with other shop duties as needed to support smooth operations
