We conduct Operations & Sustainment (O&S) activities for state-of-the-art Military and Commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) systems, providing global secure, survivable and protected communications for our Nation’s warfighters.KBR (formerly LinQuest) is the prime contractor on the Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract. By applying to this position, you are in consideration for KBR employment; however, you also have the option to be hired by one of our subcontractor teammates.We are looking for an innovative, creative and highly-motivated T&E Engineer capable of autonomous, on-the-job learning/growth to conduct independent testing as well as terminal operations for a diverse set of strategic and tactical MILSATCOM space systems and NC3 capabilities/infrastructure. The ideal candidate will employ their skills and experience to tackle technical challenges and drive executable solutions for legacy and transitioning strategic and tactical space-based telecommunication capabilities. The ideal candidate will conduct test planning, execution and assessments using established/proven government processes and procedures for independent verification and validation of new hardware/software changes to technical baselines. Work in a state-of-the-art laboratory with multiple to effectively and efficiently test system upgrades/improvements.
