Responsibilities
We currently have a great opportunity for a Media Production Manager. Responsible for managing the media production team personnel and for developing and directing the media production where resources and innovative technologies are required to achieve an internal or external goal. Demonstrates focused leadership, managing multiple projects simultaneously, to ensure efficient, on-time delivery of high-quality multimedia and educational resources for a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Works directly with requesting stakeholders, in collaboration with a variety of teams, to create overarching strategy through needs analysis to set the project goal. Assigns, monitors, and updates tactical activities via appropriate project documentation, which will be assessable to all stakeholders. Communicates updates through various meeting forums to stakeholders on a regular basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Leads the planning and implementation of media production, in coordination with the management team and cross functional stakeholders.
2. Manage the media production team personnel and determine project assignments based on workloads, skillsets, project scope and other applicable factors.
3. Provide oversight and direction to the media production team on branding treatments and messaging for all projects.
4. Responsible for administration of project tracking and management toolset with the department. Documents meeting minutes, tracks project deliverables, and develops reports using appropriate MS Office tools.
5. Utilizes strong interpersonal, persuasive, problem solving, and communication skills to facilitate the definition of program scope, goals, and deliverables for all internal and external programs.
6. Oversees the scheduling and technical performance of all media production projects in terms of resource allocation, timelines, and tracking through project completion.
7. Proactively communicates and interacts cross functionally to determine resource requirements, and ensures the appropriate resources are allocated to meet project milestones and ensure project completion.
8. Works with stakeholders to identify program gaps and address challenges. Develops action plans and implements collaborative solutions to ensure operational objectives are met.
9. Partners with various stakeholders to manage the development, production, and delivery of regional webinars, virtual symposia and virtual user group meetings as well as contribute to collaborative global productions.
10. Other duties as assigned.
Travel Percentage: 15%
Physical Risk. Regular exposure to risk that may require alertness, but with minimal precautions.
Physical Demands. Light physical effort. Routine handling of objects up to 20 pounds; prolonged (at least 50% of time) sitting, standing, keyboard or CRT work. May require periods of moderate discomfort due to noise, dust, lighting and/or other conditions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or +10 years required experience in management, which may include experience in the Armed Forces.
  • Science, Laboratory, Program Management, and/or Technical Medical Device experience is a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite; MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Proficient with project management tools such as Smartsheet.

The salary range for this role is $85,680 - $134,640. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
