Job Summary/Description:

WALA FOX10, the Fox Affiliate in the Mobile/Pensacola market (Market #57). Gray Digital Media Gulf Coast is looking for a skilled and results-driven senior-level Media Executive/Digital Specialist to join our team of integrated marketing/advertising professionals. Candidates will be based in the Mobile-Pensacola-Ft. Walton Beach area. This is not a remote position.

Are you a high-energy, creative individual who likes working with people? GDM Gulf Coast is seeking an energetic, motivated, and competitive Experienced Media Account Executive with primary responsibility of growing advertising revenue with existing accounts and through new business development. We are seeking a person who can adapt quickly to new technologies and maximize sales on all our digital and over the air properties ( Gray Digital Media, WALA FOX10, Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network, Telemundo Mobile-Pensacola). A strong work ethic and the ability to formulate and execute a daily plan are a must. This is a fast-paced and fun business that requires persistence, organization, creativity, and interpersonal skills. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital media sales is required. The chosen candidate will receive training, full benefits, and a generous compensation plan.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Develop new business and deliver advertising results for clients
- Maintain and grow an account list that would be provided.
- Seek out, pitch, and earn RFP opportunities across the United States. Identify and present marketing solutions to a variety of local businesses in a variety of fields
- Prospect for new accounts – make cold calls to secure needs analysis meetings and peak business interest with all the exciting programs and products we have to offer
research accounts and the marketplace consistently
- Work with Creative Services on video production, the Traffic Department on advertising copy traffic, the Finance Department on invoicing, discrepancies, and collection issues
- Represent GDM Gulf Coast to local clients in South Alabama and Northwest Florida and across the U.S. on the best and most comprehensive digital platforms in the marketplace and all linear stations.
- Understanding customer growth needs, reaching goals and budgets, and utilizing CRM tools
