Fall jobs refer to seasonal employment opportunities that become available during the autumn months, typically from September to November. Fall jobs can be temporary or part-time and are ideal for students, individuals seeking extra income, or those looking for seasonal work. Common examples include farm workers, warehouse associates, retail sales assistants, and event staff.

A Fall Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for assessing, implementing, and maintaining safety measures that prevent workplace falls, particularly in construction or industrial settings. Their daily tasks include conducting site inspections, recommending appropriate safety equipment, and training employees on fall prevention protocols. Job description

About U.S. Fall Protection
U.S. Fall Protection is a leading provider of turnkey fall protection solutions, delivering engineering, design, installation, testing, and recertification services for customers across North America. Our solutions include guardrail systems, roof and overhead lifelines, ladders, ladder safety systems, crossovers, and equipment platforms that help organizations protect employees working at height while meeting OSHA and industry compliance requirements.

Our customers span the pharmaceutical, automotive, food and beverage, aerospace, manufacturing, distribution, retail, transportation, and public sectors. We've earned the trust of many of the world's best-known companies by delivering high-quality solutions that improve workplace safety.

The Opportunity
We're looking for a seasoned, relationship-driven business development professional who understands that the best sales opportunities often come from customers who already know and trust you.

Unlike many sales roles, your primary focus won't be cold calling or chasing new logos. Instead, you'll work with an impressive portfolio of existing customers—many of them household names—to uncover opportunities across additional facilities, divisions, and business units. You'll also pursue select new accounts where your experience and network can accelerate growth.

Key Responsibilities

·   Build and maintain relationships with building owners, facility managers, contractors, manufacturers, and other decision-makers.

·   Develop territory plans, identify key influencers, and move opportunities efficiently from prospecting through close.

·   Recommend appropriate fall protection products and services based on each customer’s needs.

·   Generate new business through outreach, networking, marketing materials, social media, and consistent follow-up.

·   Maintain accurate customer, activity, and opportunity information in the CRM.

·   Coordinate with the General Manager, Estimators, Marketing, Technical Support, and other internal partners.

·   Gather basic field measurements and project information needed for product-specific solutions.

Qualifications

·   3–5 years of successful sales experience; safety, construction, industrial, equipment rental, or related experience preferred.

·   Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and follow-through skills.

·   Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing customer needs and deadlines.

·   Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 fall protection requirements preferred.

·   Commercial roofing or government-project experience is a plus.

·   Willingness to travel, climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs, and work comfortably around heights.

Ideal Candidate

This is an ideal opportunity for an accomplished B2B sales professional who enjoys building long-term relationships, identifying untapped opportunities, and creating value for customers. Whether you're looking for a flexible part-time role, a consulting-style position, or simply want to continue doing what you do best without the pressure of a traditional full-time sales job, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our continued growth.

If you're energized by opening doors, expanding strategic accounts, and turning one successful project into a long-term partnership, we'd like to meet you.

Compensation structure, travel territory, mileage or vehicle arrangements, and commission opportunities will be discussed during interview.

U.S. Fall Protection is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
