MIDDLE SCHOOL FALL SPORTS SUPERVISOR

Position Overview

Monroe Public Schools is seeking an organized, dependable, and student-centered individual to serve as the Middle School Fall Sports Supervisor for the fall athletic season. This position is responsible for providing on-site supervision and support for middle school athletic events and activities, ensuring a safe, positive, and well-organized environment for student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to promoting educational athletics while representing Monroe Public Schools in a positive manner.


Qualifications

  • Previous coaching experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with middle or high school athletic programs is preferred.
  • Demonstrated organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively supervise students and manage athletic events.
  • Knowledge of MHSAA rules and regulations is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism while interacting with students, parents, coaches, officials, and community members.
  • Commitment to fostering sportsmanship, integrity, and respect throughout the athletic program.
  • Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends during the athletic season.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site supervisor for designated middle school fall athletic contests and activities.
  • Ensure athletic events are conducted in a safe, orderly, and professional manner.
  • Support coaches by assisting with game-day operations and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Monitor student-athlete and spectator conduct, promoting positive sportsmanship at all times.
  • Serve as the administrative point of contact during athletic events.
  • Assist with coordinating officials, event logistics, facility readiness, and game management.
  • Communicate effectively with coaches, athletic administration, school staff, and families as needed.
  • Address concerns or emergencies in accordance with district policies and procedures.
  • Ensure facilities are secured and left in appropriate condition following events.
  • Perform other duties related to athletic event supervision as assigned by the Athletic Director or administration.

Compensation
