This employment opportunity at Delta Community Credit Union in Metro Atlanta, GA would allow you to join the Investment Program at Delta Community Credit Union as a Wealth Advisor associated with LPL Financial. Under this model Wealth Advisors are not employees of LPL Financial.

The Investment Program at Delta Community Credit Union supports the local community with a complete menu of financial services. You will join a team that is dedicated to helping members in every stage of their financial life.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in wealth management, financial planning or related field
  • FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 66, Life/Accident/Sickness, Variable Products Insurance Licenses, and Long-Term Care Certification required within 120 days of on-boarding
  • AIF designation or be able to acquire it within 12 months of on-boarding
  • CFP designation or completed Masters or Doctorate Degree in Finance, Financial Planning or Behavioral Finance and be eligible to sit for the CFP exam. Candidates that do not currently hold the CFP, but meet the education requirements, must successfully complete the exam within 6 months of on-boarding.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients and managing complex financial relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting using planning tools such as eMoney
  • Deep understanding of financial planning, investment management, tax planning, and estate planning strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience collaborating with professionals across multiple disciplines (CFAs, attorneys, tax professionals, etc.)
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to leading with integrity in all client interactions
  • Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA license and/or JD
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in coaching and mentoring developing advisors.
  • Experience managing a book of business exceeding $100 million in assets.
  • Proven success in business development and client acquisition.
  • Experience leading family wealth planning and multigenerational financial discussions.

The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant's skill, experience, and work location. This position is also eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
