Interns typically assist with research, data analysis, and the development of models to understand investor behavior. These roles may involve working with financial professionals, academic researchers, or consulting teams to examine trends, biases, and patterns in financial markets. Internships provide hands-on learning opportunities and can be a valuable stepping stone for a career in finance or behavioral economics.
