At Voya, we're reimagining how people engage with their financial future. We're seeking a curious, analytical, and innovative Senior Behavioral Experimentation Analyst to join our growing Behavioral Finance Research (Be-Fi) team.
This role sits at the unique intersection of data analytics, behavioral science, and experimentation, helping us understand what drives meaningful financial decisions and how we can improve outcomes for millions of customers.
You'll partner with researchers, product teams, marketers, and business leaders to design and evaluate behavioral and real-world experiments that influence behavior, improve engagement, and shape the future of financial wellness.

What You'll Do
Design and Execute Behavioral Experiments
  • Develop and analyze digital experimentation programs, including:
    • A/B testing
    • Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs)
    • Quasi-experimental studies
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral interventions, messaging strategies, product features, and user experiences.
  • Create and manage experiments using platforms such as Optimizely, VWO, and/or LaunchDarkly.
  • Validate and QA testing environments and data collection processes throughout the research lifecycle.
Generate Actionable Insights
  • Analyze customer behavior and large-scale datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Apply statistical methods to determine what influences customer actions and decision-making.
  • Deliver clear recommendations that drive measurable business and customer outcomes.
Influence Strategy and Innovation
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that track behavioral and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams.
  • Contribute to industry-leading behavioral science research and thought leadership.

What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or another quantitative field.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting data analysis, experimentation, research, or KPI reporting.
  • Hands-on experience designing, running, or analyzing experiments, including A/B testing, RCTs, and similar methodologies.
  • Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data environments.
  • Proficiency in tools such as R, SQL, SPSS, STATA, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Experience using digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Heap.
  • Strong statistical reasoning and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter mentality with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience analyzing financial, transactional, or customer behavior data.
  • Coursework or professional experience in behavioral economics, behavioral science, consumer psychology, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, personalization models, or recommendation engines.
  • Experience within fintech, financial services, digital products, or customer experience environments.
  • Passion for improving financial wellness and helping customers achieve better financial outcomes.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
