Job Description:

The EHS Manager is responsible for managing the development and consistent implementation of safety, security, and environmental compliance programs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards
  • Organize and lead safety training sessions for construction staff
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future
  • Assists coordinator(s) in document control and development.
  • Oversee all aspects of a construction project ensuring OSHA compliance.
  • Oversee all subcontractors and contractors.
  • Update corporate and site specific EHS dashboards.
  • Oversees all EHS metrics and will send out reports on a routine basis.
Qualifications: Education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred 5+ years of direct construction safety experience, preferred General Contractor experience, preferred OSHA 510 and/or 500 a plus CHST or CSP preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, and balance
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl using both arms and legs
  • Ability to reach, grasp, push, pull, handle, feel, and type with both hands and arms
  • Ability to smell, talk and hear
  • Ability to see at close and distance ranges and the ability to see and correctly distinguish color
  • Ability to lift equipment in small spaces without mechanical assistance, weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work inside and outside
