Reporting:
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Lead A&P Technician (Maintenance).

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Communicate when tasks are complete so next trade can move onto the job.
  • Ensure work environment is safe and clean.
  • Promote company values, vision, and mission.
  • Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
  • Possesses strong fundamental aircraft knowledge.
  • Builds quality capability and responsiveness for Avmax.
  • Carry out maintenance repairs on customer and company aircraft under the supervision of a qualified technician or Lead A&P Technician.
  • Completely and accurately sign off work in progress documentation and work cards for work accomplished.
  • Report unserviceable equipment to assigned Lead A&P Technician and/or delegate.
  • Notify Lead A&P Technician of all defects discovered during maintenance.
  • Attend training courses as directed by company management.

Qualifications:
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
  • A&P Certified is preferred, but not required.

Experience:
  • Recommended 1-2 years of experience in a mechanical field.
  • 1-2 years military or civil Aviation experience.

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The employee will be required to;
