PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  1. Perform the required troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair as needed of Falcon Aircraft anywhere in the world depending on their AOG location. To include locations at various points across the Americas and the globe which could include remote areas where modern conveniences may not always be available.
  2. Perform all stated maintenance or basic avionics tasks and associated checks, inspections and/or troubleshooting as identified on the assigned AOG or drop-in aircraft.
  3. Identify all troubleshooting tasks and maintenance tasks to be performed and parts to be ordered for a particular AOG.
  4. Perform status updates of work in progress to Command Center and/or Operations Manager.
  5. Perform all work with the highest level of technical knowledge and experience, in addition to maintaining the utmost level of professionalism with customers, vendors and other flight department or customer personnel on both a personal level and also as a direct representative of the company, Dassault Falcon Jet.
  6. Adhere to all FAA Regulations, the Dassault Repair Station Manual, Operations Manual and all other Quality Manuals and/or Regulations.
  7. Accurately and thoroughly complete all appropriate maintenance, work order, and RTS paperwork
  8. Be "travel ready" within 1/2 hour during duty time and 2 hours when standby time off base.
  9. Work unscheduled overtime as-needed based on level of AOG activity to include weekends and/or holidays. Advance notice will be provided in all cases when such notice is available to the company but due to the nature of aircraft it is rarely known in advance.
  10. Applicants must have experience pertaining to the forecasted scope of work including but not limited to; troubleshooting, parts replacement, work order documentation, interpretation of technical documentation, customer service and communications skills.
  11. Perform all other duties as assigned.

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Maintain high level of system knowledge of Falcon Aircraft
  • This will be performed by working and training with Engineering Support
  • Develop in depth knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and methodologies

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position typically falls between $50 and $60 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
