About Freeman Jet Center - ABI: Freeman Jet Center-Abilene (FJC ABI) is the Fixed Base

Operator (FBO) at Abilene Regional Airport (KABI). Our customers are pilots, passengers and

crew who arrive and depart by private aircraft. We take great pride in the teamwork concept.


We are seeking an individual to join our avionics department as an avionics technician. FJCABI

is seeking an individual to perform aviation electronic instrument installations and repairs at our

FAA Certified Repair Station.

Requirements:

Requirements

Troubleshooting, Diagnostic, and Service work

Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies and

procedures.

Collaborate with other departments, such as line service, maintenance, and the parts department,

to support operational objectives.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including aircraft logbooks, maintenance

logs, and regulatory documentation.

This position requires excellent communication skills, expedient responsiveness, and attention to

detail.


Qualifications

Experience in General Aviation Installation is a plus

Computer skills required

Must be ready and willing to learn new skills

Military or airline avionics experience preferred

Repairman Certificate preferred

No felonies in the last 10 years

Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and obtain

an airfield access badge.
