Work Environment

Our outpatient office setting caters to a diverse clientele seeking therapeutic support. Although you will work primarily from home, the position necessitates close interaction with clients through virtual appointments, ensuring flexibility in scheduling. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic care for clients and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Regularly maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Stay current with developments in the mental health field, engaging in professional development opportunities, and attending workshops and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will consist of individuals from various backgrounds facing a multitude of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. Our ethos emphasizes respect for each client's experience, and you will utilize culturally responsive counseling techniques to forge strong therapeutic alliances. Working with clients of diverse ages and backgrounds, you will address their unique concerns while promoting healing and personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• At least 2 years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to mental health practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant digital tools.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in specific areas such as trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, family therapy, or couples counseling is strongly preferred.
• Experience in developing and leading support groups or workshops is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
