Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify client needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups in a remote setting.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, adjusting techniques as needed to suit different client requirements.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss treatment plans and collaborate on client care for optimal outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and staying informed about advancements in mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Your role will be crucial in helping clients navigate their personal journeys towards recovery and personal growth, ensuring that they receive individualized attention and care.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, ideally in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations related to counseling practices.
• Excellent communication skills for establishing rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and other relevant digital tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, family therapy, substance abuse, or couples counseling is highly preferred.
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this Licensed Professional Counselor position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your caseload and experience.
