Job description

Accent & Speech Training Specialist

Location: Fully Remote Hours: Full Time Compensation: 30,000-50,000 ZAR / Month

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Voice Coach / Voice Actor with expertise in accent training, speech clarity, and vocal performance to train sales and customer service representatives who work with American customers. This role will focus on helping team members adapt their vocal delivery for clarity, confidence, and cultural resonance with our diverse customer base.

You will design and deliver engaging training programs, provide one-on-one coaching, and develop learning materials to help our representatives master accent modification, tone control, and effective verbal communication techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess & Develop Vocal Skills
    • Evaluate current speech patterns of customer service reps.
    • Identify strengths, areas for improvement, and accent-related challenges.
  • Design Training Programs
    • Create tailored lessons on accent reduction, neutral accent adoption, or specific regional/global accents as needed.
    • Incorporate techniques from acting, voiceover, and speech therapy disciplines.
  • Deliver Virtual Coaching Sessions and Performance Management
    • Conduct group workshops and individual sessions via video call.
    • Use vocal warm-ups, breathing techniques, articulation drills, and pacing strategies. Provide ongoing feedback and measurable progress tracking. Offer refresher training to maintain vocal quality and adaptability.
  • Develop Resources
    • Produce audio/visual training materials, pronunciation guides, and practice scripts.
