Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA, or equivalent practical experience in a technical, quantitative, or a business field.
  • 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience in consumer internet and media industries.
  • Experience with operational projects, cross-functional stakeholder management and project management, including the ability to work autonomously and keep multiple priorities moving at the same time.
  • Excellent communication skills along with the ability to communicate across multiple levels, including cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (e.g., spreadsheets/modeling, SQL) along with informed business judgment.

About the job
The YouTube Business Central Planning and Operations team is responsible for leading global, cross-functional initiatives to drive the growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning, business operations, incentives design and operations, product partnerships strategy, and go-to-market for the three regions: Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
As the Business Operations Manager for YouTube's Go-to-Market Operations team, you will work closely with the leadership team to help the business grow, ensuring our teams are executing against YouTube's most critical priorities and driving consistency around our ongoing operations. You will refine and drive operating processes for the team's Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), establish new motions for monitoring operational and business metrics, and ensure alignment across the team on our most strategic initiatives.
Your understanding of the team's work and your ability to analyze a challenge with structured thinking and a sense for process will help propel strategic priorities across the team. You are comfortable with ambiguity and you adapt your approach to reconcile with changing priorities, directions, and guidance. You are comfortable working cross-functionally in a results-driven environment, have an experience of managing engaging priorities, and want to be part of an innovative global team forging new ground in the world of technology and entertainment

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $153,000-$222,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Drive the team's global objective and key results (OKR) processes in close collaboration with cross-functional leadership to ensure awareness and alignment.
  • Orchestrate a strategic cadence of broad operational reviews to enable executive leadership to monitor business trends, identify best practices, and course-correct as needed.
  • Lead a structured process to surface new critical business needs, and surface across the leadership team to align on prioritization and trade-offs, partner with technical teams to refine tooling and workflows to help automate.
  • Identify problems and issues across the organization, create programs and processes to solve them, and influence cross-functional teams and leadership to bring them to life.
