Yokogawa Corporation of America is seeking a strategic and customer-focused Thermal Power Market Development Manager to support growth within the thermal power generation market across North America.
This role combines strategic selling, market development, and industry engagement with a focus on expanding Yokogawa's presence in thermal power and emerging co-generation opportunities supporting hyperscale data centers.
The successful candidate will help lead Yokogawa's thermal power growth initiatives while personally supporting selected strategic opportunities, EPC engagement, customer relationships, and industry activities.
This is a highly collaborative role supported by Yokogawa's broader sales, EPC, analyzer, consulting, product, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Support Yokogawa thermal power growth initiatives and strategic market engagement
• Develop relationships with owner/operators, EPCs, technology partners, and strategic customers
• Pursue opportunities related to thermal power modernization and data center co-generation
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to align business development initiatives with company capabilities, customer engagement, and market priorities
• Represent Yokogawa at industry conferences, customer meetings, and networking events
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and insights, and customer needs to inform decision-making
• Support development of industry messaging, collateral, and strategic campaigns
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years of experience in thermal power
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with industrial customers, EPCs, or strategic accounts
• Ability to travel across North America 35%
Preferred
• Experience with independent power producers and co-generation markets
• Familiarity with automation systems, analyzers, lifecycle services, or industrial digitalization
• Understanding of EPC-driven project environments
• Familiarity with data center power infrastructure trends
