Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain equipment (trucks, trailers, skid steers, loaders, mowers, snow plows, tractors, etc.)
    • Perform regular maintenance and inspections.
    • Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, hydraulic, change tires, brakes, and electrical issues.
    • Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime during projects.
    • Maintain an organized and safe work environment, keeping tools and parts properly inventoried.


    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in the landscaping, construction industry.
    • Diesel and heavy equipment experience preferred.
    • Expertise in engine repair.  Small and large engines.
    • Welding and fabrication a plus.
    • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems quickly and efficiently.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
    • Mechanic certifications preferred but not required. 
    • Able to lift 50 lbs. 
    • CDL class A preferred but not required.
    • Valid Driver's license and 2 years of clean driving experience.
