Job description

  • Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities.
  • Works with director to determine current needs for program.
  • Ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions.
  • Manage communication through media relations, social media, etc
  • Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda.
  • Support growth and program development.
  • Monitors daily pool operations to adhere to all state, local and YMCA health and safety regulations.
  • Maintains accurate records of pool chemical levels and facility maintenance.
  • Maintains accurate records of staff certifications.
  • Conducts and ensures proper maintenance of pools.
  • Secures and schedules pool facilities.
  • Conducts lifeguarding, swim instruction, First Aid and CPR trainings.
  • Creates and schedules swim classes, water fitness classes, and swim team practices and meets.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
