Project Overview:

The project is a 1.3 GW simple-cycle power generation facility located in Millersport, Ohio, being constructed adjacent to a hyperscale data center campus. The facility includes multiple power generation technologies consisting of Solar Titan 130 gas turbines, Siemens SGT800 gas turbines, reciprocating engines, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, and associated balance of plant infrastructure.

The scope includes major civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, underground utility, control systems, and commissioning works required to support phased energization and turnover of the facility. Construction will be executed through a combination of direct hire and subcontracted labor supported by modularization, pre-assembly, offsite warehousing, and advanced work packaging methodologies.

Job Summary:

Supports construction execution through the development and maintenance of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), Installation Work Packages (IWPs), construction readiness plans, and workface planning activities. Utilizes 4D scheduling and visualization tools to support construction sequencing, identify constraints, improve productivity, and ensure work fronts are ready for execution.

Coordinates closely with Field Engineering, Superintendents, Project Controls, Supply Chain, and Construction teams to forecast upcoming work, track constraints, support hydrotest planning, and ensure labor, materials, equipment, and engineering deliverables are aligned with construction priorities. This role will Start in Reston,VA then moblize to the site in Ohio. #LI-RM1

Major Responsibilities:

Work Planning & Packaging 

  • Prepares construction drawings and sketches. 
  • Facilitates planning construction methods and procedures.   

Material Management  

  • Initiates requisitions for field purchases                         
  • Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment. 

Quantities 

  • Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.  

Safety / Quality Control 

  • Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. 

Technical  

  • Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities 

System Turnover Coordinator  

For Direct Hire  

  • Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development. 

STR / Subcontract Coordinator 

  • Reviews and approves inspection test plans,  
  • Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of construction sequencing and workface planning principles
  • Familiarity with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), Construction Work Packages (CWPs), and Installation Work Packages (IWPs)
  • Experience using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software
  • Experience with 4D planning and visualization tools (Synchro, Navisworks, or similar) preferred
  • Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables
  • Familiarity with hydrotest planning, mechanical completion, and turnover processes preferred
  • Ability to identify construction constraints and support readiness planning
  • Experience tracking quantities, productivity, and progress metrics preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with field and engineering teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools preferred
  • Industrial, infrastructure, power, data center, or EPC project experience preferred
