Shift :               2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance/Operations Supervisor to lead shop floor activities, coordinate tasks, and drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency metrics. This role involves direct supervision of production and maintenance teams and requires strong leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise production and/or maintenance employees to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Act as the primary liaison between shop floor employees and management
• Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to team members
• Ensure employees are properly trained with the right tools and instructions
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot quality/workmanship issues
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and work standards
• Manage workforce planning including shift assignments, overtime, and coverage
• Plan and oversee equipment and facility maintenance to maximize uptime
• Monitor department budget and control operational costs
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations
• Implement and enforce safety programs and housekeeping standards
• Spend significant time (~50%) on the shop floor overseeing operations

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing/production environment
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience managing hourly workforce in a factory setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Experience in work planning, scheduling, and estimation
• Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or tool & die areas
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must be eligible for onsite/in-person interviews
