Job DescriptionAs an Operations Leader on the Engine Systems Unit Integration team, a typical day involves overseeing and executing daily operations, guiding and supporting our hourly workforce, and serving as the primary point of escalation for the team. The Operations Leader assumes full responsibility for ensuring seamless product flow, meeting and exceeding the expectations of both internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best performance. They will be adept at navigating complex challenges, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and driving results-oriented solutions. This is a 100% on-site position, requiring a strong presence and commitment to the team.

Required Skills and EducationEducation:- Bachelor's degree in Operational Leadership, Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related field), or equivalent experience.
Experience:- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in a production, manufacturing, operations, or engineering environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Proven ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment with demanding customer expectations.
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Highly analytical with advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Experience leading in a team-based manufacturing environment, with the ability to make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in supervising employees, with a strong track record of developing and managing high-performing teams.
Preferred Skills and EducationLean Manufacturing and Process Improvement:- Proven experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts, with a demonstrated track record of successful lean and Six Sigma implementation.
- Ability to drive process improvements, eliminate waste, and optimize production workflows.
Business Systems and Tools:- Experience with business systems and tools that support labor management, process optimization, and budget management.
- Proficiency in utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
