  • Assist with workforce planning, project staffing, and scheduling for special projects, weekend support, and retrofit activities.
  • Prepare and update internal presentations, Excel spreadsheets, reports, and other documentation.
  • Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure workforce needs are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Help identify and resolve staffing or operational issues in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of automotive industry experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of coordination experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to remain detail-oriented while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in both office and shop/warehouse environments when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of automotive industry experience.
  • 5+ years of coordination experience.
  • Previous workforce coordination, contractor management, or staffing experience.
  • Experience working with a VMS or contractor management system.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of automotive operations and the types of skilled employees required to support prototype and engineering projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong listening, questioning, and relationship-building abilities.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on environment and can effectively juggle multiple priorities. You should be comfortable communicating with contractors, staffing agencies, and internal teams while keeping hiring, workforce, and operational details organized and moving forward.

If you have automotive industry experience, strong coordination skills, and enjoy being the person who keeps things organized behind the scenes, we'd like to hear from you.
