The job details are as follows:The Senior HRIS Analyst is the gatekeeper for master data management in our Workday system of record, wherein all administration of HR initiatives is rooted. They are responsible for maintenance, administration, processing, reporting, testing and auditing, to ensure data integrity of system design and functionality in Workday. This position is the primary point of contact for Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, Learning and Payroll modules in Workday, supports internal partners throughout the organization with data analytics and reporting needs, and leads all module testing and upgrades, self-service manager and employee education, and knowledge transfer to Workday functional leads. This role supports the Global HRIS Manager with expanding design and development of our HRIS initiatives to ensure successful and accurate administration, operation, and alignment of the system with OCLC's strategic objectives and HR-specific goals.Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR system support and assist with solutions to include development, testing, maintenance, reporting and integration.

  • Develop ad hoc reports to support data requests from internal clients. Recommend and define logic for reports, develop standard reporting to meet business requirements, and offer technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity.

  • Ensure system accuracy through regular audits, recognizing data problems or inconsistencies by understanding HR system data feeds and how they work with other business systems.

  • Review, test and implement upgrades in Workday (including weekly updates, semi-annual feature releases, and ongoing changes), participating as a technical team member for module testing and upgrades.

  • Ensure system is properly working by developing test plans and executing them.

  • Provide point-of-contact technical assistance to both Administrators and End-Users of HR Systems, including reporting, troubleshooting and queries as needed.

  • Prepare and develop communication materials and information as needed for employee and manager education and self-service.

  • Monitor adherence to data management procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with HR, IT and management staff to identify problems, resolve inquires, and derive appropriate system and/or process solutions.

  • Review business process transactions awaiting type report for key processes and ensure items are completed timely (termination, job change, hire, etc.).

  • Provide HR Support (Workday Mailbox & Functional Leads).

  • Provide knowledge transfer so functional teams can be self-sufficient in Workday.

  • Submit JIRA tickets for issues/requested functionality when applicable, and manage incidents, track ticket status and partner with internal teams to resolve.

  • Assist with Workday Community searches with functional leads.

  • Identify, develop, and deliver HR system training to meet the needs of end users.

  • Support best practice technical solutions to meet business requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.

  • Minimum of 6 years HRIS experience with an emphasis on Human Capital Management (Workday experience strongly preferred).

  • Comprehensive knowledge of business and technical requirements analysis as they relate to human resource systems integration, HRIS data configuration, workflow management, and business processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including system users, senior management, and executive management.

  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently, in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, with especially advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, nested formulas, and lookups.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills.

Desirable but not required:

Experience with Workday modules: Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, Learning and Payroll modules in Workday
