Who You Are
As the Senior Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting, finance, and analytical functions as part of the company's corporate consolidation and reporting team. This role will be accountable to the Company's stakeholders by providing high-quality financial reporting, as well as operational accounting and finance support on Company transactions. To be successful in this role, you will have to rely on a strong technical skillset to manage the preparation of Company consolidated financial statements and effectively communicate financial results to business partners and other users of the financial statements. This role will partner with multiple accounting teams across the organization. In alignment with the brand strategy of reinforcing the core values of the Company, this role is focused on delivering key metrics and strategic analysis while supporting the designated business units.
The Difference You Will Make:
  • Apply a thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting skills to produce high-quality, accurate, timely financial statements and schedules for reporting purposes.
  • Maintain consolidation accounting processes and policies, controls over financial reporting, preparing and/or reviewing financial reports.
  • Drive monthly financial close processes in accordance with GAAP, from journal entries through review/explanation of financial statements.
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all reports, presentations, and data provided to external investors/banks/auditors.
  • Prepare reconciliations of intercompany balances for which financial reporting is required.
  • Prepare monthly financial analysis of key accounts as requested.
  • Maintain and update knowledge on Accounting Principles and market trends.
  • Understand business unit methods, and make decisions as it relates to the accounting department.
  • Manage reporting software and utilize software to produce required data and metrics needed for business analysis/decision making.
  • Assist with tax planning and compliance.
  • Influence idea generation for Best-in-Class principles and utilizes strategic development for future business needs/growth.
  • Complete other projects as directed and assigned by Leadership Team.

What You'll Bring:

  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 3-5 combined years of public accounting and/or industry experience (public company preferred)
  • Sound technical accounting and reporting acumen, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of internal control concepts.
  • Experience with consolidation tools (Planful, Hyperion, SAP, Workday).
  • Strong organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to manage numerous projects/deliverables simultaneously against set deadlines.
  • Energetic, can-do attitude, forward-thinking leader and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology driven, vertically integrated structure leveraging a collaborative management team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks in an accurate and thorough manner.

Direct Reports and Reporting Relationship:
This role will not have any direct reports but will be expected to achieve results by working alongside team members from multiple departments and throughout the organization, ensuring success of department objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business discipline required
  • Two (2) to Four (4) years professional/public accounting experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Additional education or certification in accounting field desired but not required.

Location and Travel:This position will be based in Columbus, Ohio with minimal travel to local and out of state markets including but not limited to Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, and Florida.
