Workday Developer/engineer Multiple roles locations including Richmond, Mclean, Plano, San Fran, Chicago, Atlanta, Wilmington, NYC, Boston, San Jose- hybrid 3 days per week onsite. USC/GC only - Workday Financials (GL, FA, Expenses, Invoices, Payments, Suppliers, Consolidation), Workday Integration (REST/SOAP APIs), Workday Extend, Integration Design/Development, Workday Platform Engineering (AWS/Azure/GCP, Agile nice-to-have)
  • Client is looking for Workday Developer/engineer with designing and developing integration solutions.
General Responsibilities:
  • Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
  • Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating Finance value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
  • Deliver solutions in Workday platform across the Finance modules of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
  • Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with Finance partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
  • Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday Technology & Platform updates, fixes and capabilities
  • Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation & maintenance
  • Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
  • Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 4 years of Workday platform engineering experience
  • At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions
  • At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
  • 5 plus years of experience working with Workday platform across the Workday Finance modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 plus years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday
  • 3 plus years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
  • Workday Integration Developer certifications
  • 1 plus years designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
  • 1 plus years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service
  • 2 plus years of experience in Agile practices
