Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Skechers IT division is transforming our engineering practice by embracing high-performing, cloud native APIs and applications using a modern technology stack that includes serverless, microservices, containers, and enterprise integration platforms. The Integration Engineer is a key role within the Software Engineering and Architecture organization, responsible for agile software delivery across multiple integration platforms including Workday, Boomi, and Oracle Cloud Integration (OIC).
This role requires expertise in building complex integrations between Workday HCM, Oracle ERP, and other business application providers on the cloud (SaaS), on-premises systems, and 3rd party platforms. The Integration Engineer will build, orchestrate, and deploy complex integration patterns between system, process and service layers while working in a collaborative team environment and providing ongoing technical support.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Workday Integration Responsibilities
  • Develop, configure, and test technical integrations using Workday's comprehensive toolkit
  • Utilize Studio Developer, RaaS Integrations, and Enterprise Interface Building (EIB)
  • Implement Complex Calculated Fields, Custom Reports, Web Services solutions
  • Develop and manage complex integrations across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Learning and Absence functions
  • Handle specialized integrations: EIB, CCW/CCB/CCTPP/PICOF/PECI, Studio Integrations, Boomerang Integrations, BIRT Reporting
  • Understand and implement Workday Integration Security framework

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud Process, Application Integration, Visual Builder, and Insight Analytics, along with Oracle API Platform Cloud Service
  • Create OIC Integrations in Oracle ERP Cloud for Finance Modules - AP, AR, GL, FA, Accounting Hub
  • Develop Oracle PL/SQL packages and procedures for validations and transformations for OIC integrations
  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain integration processes between applications across cloud and on-premises systems
  • Develop BIP Reports (using RTF layouts with bursting features) & OTBI analysis & dashboards
  • Develop VBCS pages for Program & project creation/mass update with complex approval process using PCS & OIC integrations

Boomi Integration Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain integration processes using the Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform
  • Build cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premises, and hybrid integrations using Boomi connectors
  • Develop and maintain Boomi processes, maps, and connectors for various business applications
  • Implement error handling, monitoring, and alerting within Boomi integration flows
  • Optimize Boomi integration performance and troubleshoot integration issues

General Integration Responsibilities
  • Participate in proof-of-concept development, demos, and post-deployment support of cross-team integration efforts
  • Translate business process requirements into detailed technical specifications to meet business goals
  • Ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority and business objectives
  • Work within a team to establish best practices in services development and integration of applications
  • Interface with both internal and external technical experts to implement solutions
  • Experience working with DevOps teams on implementing CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/alerting

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Workday Integration:
  • Minimum 6+ years total Workday experience
  • Workday Integration/Studio Certification required
  • Proven programming skills in XML, JSON, XSLT 3.0 and Java
  • Experience with Workday's comprehensive integration toolkit
  • Deep understanding of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Learning and Absence system integrations

Oracle Integration Cloud:
  • 5+ years of experience in building OIC components - Integrations, Adapters, Visual builder, B2B, Business Insights, File Server, Process Cloud & API gateway
  • Strong understanding/working experience of OIC adapters, usage of REST, SOA adapters, usage of orchestration integration patterns
  • 5+ years of experience in developing PL/SQL packages and stored procedures
  • Performance optimization of PL/SQL packages and SQL tuning
  • Experience with Oracle SOA Cloud Service (including Oracle Managed File Transfer, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), BPEL, BAM)

Dell Boomi:
  • 3+ years of experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform
  • Experience with Boomi connectors, processes, maps, and deployment strategies
  • Understanding of Boomi Atom/Molecule architecture and cloud deployment models
  • Experience with Boomi API Management and B2B/EDI capabilities

General Integration Skills:
  • Knowledge of integration architectures in both Cloud and Hybrid landscapes
  • Experience in complex integration projects across multiple platforms
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs
  • Understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services
  • Experience with JSON, XML, and various data transformation techniques

REQUIREMENTS:
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent or proven years of experience
  • Total of 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration development
  • Experience working within an Agile team
  • Experience working directly with business facing groups outside of development is a plus
  • Ability to communicate complex topics with precision and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all stakeholders
  • Ability to present information effectively to internal and external associates
  • Ability to categorize and communicate requirements accurately and effectively
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Ensure data security for Oracle Cloud SaaS, OCI applications, and Workday systems
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation
  • Understanding of enterprise security frameworks across multiple platforms

The pay range for this role is $125,000 - $165,000/yr USD.
