Job description

Job Title: Senior Workday Integration Architect

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  1. Ownership of the hire-to-retire lifecycle in Workday: Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle from hiring to retirement within the Workday platform.
  2. Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to drive Workday product launches: Coordinate and lead efforts across various teams to ensure successful product launches.
  3. Continuously elevate the employee experience and optimize interactions with Workday: Focus on improving the user experience and efficiency of Workday interactions.
  4. Represent the Workday platform across the landscape of HR applications: Act as the primary representative for Workday in the context of HR applications.
  5. Partner with business leaders and People Engineering teams to align on objectives and programs: Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.
  6. Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday functionality: Oversee the entire process of developing and implementing new features in Workday.

Core Responsibilities (MUST):

 

1.                  Integration Development: Designing and developing integrations using various Workday tools, including Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and primarily Workday Studio.

2.                  Data Transformation: Utilizing XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations), often specifically XSLT 3.0, to transform XML data from Workday into the format required by external systems, and vice versa.

3.                  Perform Document transformations: Create and manage the transformation of data between different formats (From Workday's internal structure to a flat file, JSON, csv, delimited files or another system's format).

4.                  Troubleshooting & Support: Providing technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data accuracy and system stability. Working on complex studio designs and suggest improvement pointers from performance point of view.

5.                  Security & Maintenance: Configuring security groups and policies for integrations and participating in bi-annual Workday releases and updates along with annual maintenance check lists.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years experience implementing or managing solutions in Workday: Extensive experience in handling Workday solutions along with program level solutioning and effort estimation.
  2. 4+ years experience configuring Workday HCM, with demonstrated technical experience: Proven expertise in configuring Workday Human Capital Management and integrating with multiple applications end to end including post production support including complex Studio builds
  3. 2+ years experience supporting other Workday products (Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Learning): Experience in supporting various Workday modules specifically Workday Studio.
  4. Deep HR domain expertise and ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions: Strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to implement them technically.
  5. Able to thrive in a complex & technically ambiguous environment: Comfort with navigating and succeeding in challenging environments.
